If you mean a drop in free throw percentage all the years he was in Miami is an improvement, I guess he did "improved his free throws considerably".

Phoenix is a little better, more like he shot with the Lakers, but, of course he didn't shoot as many. His career best year, .622, was with the Lakers.

ESPN reported this morning that trade talks between Cleveland and Phoenix are heating up and that Shaq may very well wind up in Cleveland. Somehow I don't see him as the missing part of the championship puzzle. He would clog up the middle on offense, he has no outside shot, and be of little help in their transition game. Anyone else have thought on this?

I'm a Suns fan, and while Shaq's a good guy, we need the cap room and when Amare returns it just doesn't really work with Shaq in the middle.

He doesn't have much of a shot including free throws.  But that's not what Shaq is there for.  Shaq is a big man, he is there to get rebounds and dunk or lay up the ball.  The Magic, nor the Laker's ever did shit with him or taught him anything more, so that is what he is use to.

When he went to the Heat and then to the Sun's though, he actually improved his free throws considerably not to mention his ability to actual handle the ball.

Anyone remember when his big ass went coast to coast and made the shot when he was playing for the Heat?  He looked crazy lol and goofy, but he has improved a lot in the last 4 yrs.  I think it'd be great to see another talented player go to Cleavland.

I think the Shaq trade would be enough to get them to the NBA finals, but I don't know if they could beat the lakers in the finals. I think there's a good chance that the lakers could make a short Dynasty. Overall, their not that old. I still think the Cavs should go after Carlos Boozer. Would yall agree? Carlos used to play with LeBron a few years back anyway, plus he's got a pretty good outside shot. Most people still want the Kobe vs. LeBron Finals. I do to. GO LAKERS!!!

I think Shaq going to Cleveland would be good for both teams.  Shaq is more suited for a half court type of offense and with Lebron and his many skills he would free up Lebron to do his thing.  Nash is more suited to the run and gun type offense, which Shaq slowed down.  I think Nash would be better off without Shaq.
