Was anyone aware of what was transpiring between Lebron's mom and Delonte West? Was anyone aware that Lebron did learn about their relationship during the course of the Eastern Conference semifinals? That Could be a source of his emotional state during the press conferences. Google the story and get back to me. Certainly makes for interesting discussion.

As a Cleveland Native I can honestly tell you at this point I don't give a hell where "Lebrat Shames" goes. If he is leaving farewell.

If his Mom and Delonte got it on....they are both adults...but that has to be a huge gross out factor for LeBrat Shames......it would explain why he was distracted during the playoffs.

I'm gonna tell Tasha on you.

Neener Neener Neener

Lebrat Shames!!! LMAO

Oh come on OSP.....

He should be absolutely ashamed of himself for his game performance....His entire body language during the whole series spoke: "I don't want to be here, fuck this game."..... but if his Mom and his team mate are boinking.....I understand him being totally grossed out.

I think LeBrat has way too much on his plate and cannot handle the pressure right now. I also think his injury was severely understated.

If he is psychologically reacting, like you suggest, should he feel shame? I don't think so.

Too much on his plate; abso-f---in-lutely.

I can get it that he may have been completely grossed out....but his Mom and his team mate are adults. If that is what drove him to play so poorly....he needs to get over it....his Mom is an adult and can mess around with whomever. It is not like she is messing around with a scum bag....Delonte is probably certifiable without his meds, but he is not a horrible human being.

But we will never know what happened or how LeBrat found out.....the thought of me walking in on my Mom and one of my male friends is making me wanna yack! Oh man HOW GROSS!!

Stoudemire's mother gets 3-year prison term

Carrie Mae Stoudemire, the troubled mother of injured basketball star Amare Stoudemire, was sentenced Friday to three years in prison for aggravated DUI.

Stoudemire, 50, pleaded guilty and received credit for the 162 days she spent in custody since her Oct. 21 arrest for crashing into a freeway barrier on Interstate 10.

The incident was the latest in a string of run-ins with Arizona law enforcement.

Stoudemire could have faced up to 4 1/2 years if she was found guilty during trial.

Maricopa County Superior Court Commissioner Aimee Anderson read the sentence Friday morning in Phoenix as the Suns prepared for Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals in Dallas.

Amare Stoudemire worked out Friday with his teammates at American Airlines Center; he would not comment about his mother's case.

Larry Kazan, the prominent Phoenix DUI attorney who represented Carrie Mae, said that if Amare had not undergone his second knee surgery earlier in the season, he would have had to play Game 2 through the lingering worry about his mother being sent to jail.

"Those are just extremely difficult circumstances for any family," Kazan said.

Carrie Mae had been under house arrest at her Ahwatukee home after her October DUI incident.

The drunken-driving accident violated the terms of her probation from a 2003 DUI incident.

Stoudemire was also charged with presenting her arresting officer with a fake driver's license.

Stoudemire violated the terms of her house arrest a few weeks ago by leaving her home unannounced to check herself into a "mental-health institution," Kazan said.

He would not specify which hospital Stoudemire admitted herself to, or for what reason.

"She doesn't want to be in trouble," he said.

"She certainly doesn't want to be a distraction to her son," Kazan added.

Last month, Stoudemire petitioned the court to be allowed to leave home to work for her son's Amare Stoudemire Enterprises, and to attend church services.

Commissioner Anderson rejected the bid.

Stoudemire completed drug and alcohol rehabilitation in April at the Journey at Sundance, a holistic healing center in north Scottsdale.

Stoudemire was arrested at Scottsdale Fashion Square in July 2004 and charged with shoplifting more than $1,100 in clothes from Neiman Marcus.

Stoudemire will be up for early release after she serves 85 percent of her 3-year sentence, Kazan said.
