With the exception of Ian McCall, who is sounding like a little punk, Rousey is getting nothing but respect from the rest of the world, and deservedly so.

Why are you constantly looking for victims, when none exist. Rousey is at the top of her game, she has earned the respect of EVERYONE in her field and you have to try and give her victim status. Why don't you find someone who actually needs your help, Rousey, just like the hoookers on TER doesn't need or want your help, she is already getting the RESPECT she has earned.

Now if your point was that Ian McCall is a punk, and is ten times worse than Bobby Riggs, I agree, but if you are trying to make it out like Rousey is some kind of victim, you are as delusional as ever.

One last thing, "IF" there ever was to be a professional fight between a man and a woman, I would be among the first to boycott such an event and call for the public lynching of the promoters. Domestic violence is a REAL issue, trivializing it by having a man fight a woman for the mouth breathers pleasure would be a travesty, and the people sponsoring such a thing would be run out of town on a rail.

too much credit. There is no way she would beat 99% of guys her size or 90% of street fighters. They are much quicker and stronger than her. She may win against a regular guy off the street, but not against another MMA fighter; not even against one in the light weight class.

But if that day ever came and any woman in sport 'chose' to want to fight  a man on her own damn merit......she has every God given right to. No matter how it goes down. If you can't handle it, don't watch. And I say...kick their muthaf****** ass.

Talk about a no win situation, If you win, you just beat up a girl and now you are a pariah, and God forbid you lose, now you are the guy who just got beat up by a girl. Who in their right mind would want to be THAT guy? The only motivation I can think of for any man to take that fight would be some loser living in obscurity who would do anything to get noticed and have his fifteen minutes of fame.

Speaking strictly for myself, not only would I NOT watch such an event, but I would think seriously about boycotting any carrier who would even air it.

She'd beat the crap out of the majority of men. They had an interview for many of the other male fighters, a few years ago, and most of them said they'd be afraid to fight her. Not because she is a woman or just trying to be nice. They are aware that she is more flexible and faster than most of them and once she has that armbar going, they will cry like a baby.  

Well after reading all the responses, i'll  have to put in my Lincolns. By all means I am not trying to come across as a hater.  I have been watching basically any form of MA since the beginning and have been to over 50 events live.  I love it, even gave it a try for a while.  Its WAAAY harder then you would ever think.  So although Rousey is a very good fighter she isn't great there are many holes in her game, they just haven't been exploited yet.  The Women's division is basically new and the talent is just getting good, it WILL improve for sure.  I give an example, in his day Matt Hughes was considered an incredible fighter many considered him the best pound for pound fighter there was.  And as a huge fan of his even I will admit in todays arena he is not. I could go on with many others.  Now lastly, in response to the male fighters being afraid to fight her that's BS, have you EVER heard any of them say they were afraid to fight even the best MALE fighters.... NO. They are ALPHA males they would NEVER say they were afraid, I've followed this sport for years and NEVER heard any of them say that.  So really do you think Dana White is going to let them get on TV and say that she's " an OK fighter" and "I'm not afraid of her" No he's not.  So again much respect to her, but I for one believe the best pound for pound FEMALE fighter is yet to come.....

Taylor, First off I'm not trying to stir the pot.  Just think of the BEST female athlete in any sport; soccer, tennis, softball, boxing, basketball anything.  Now put them up against the average male athlete is the same sport, are they going to beat them most time, NO.  Now if the game is strictly mental I will give them an even chance for sure!!  But when it comes to physical sports, it just not going to happen.  If you come up with one please post it I would love to know who it is.  Please don't think I'm trying to put down women's sports, I'm not in the least!!  But be honest when it comes to bigger, stronger, faster the guys have it...
