Now I can see with my opening statement where people who read without thinking would believe I was protesting to post. Not in the least.

It not much of a sports post but it is definitely  sports enough. The only post I have asked the mod to pull was one I made. Can't remember the post.

We have been following the NFL with all of its twist and turns all year.

There were a few comments on the board about Tebow's religious convection but not much.

I don't know of one post about his sexual orientation. I don't think anybody cared.  

I know I don't.

FUCK------ok, as an agnostic-atheist, I'll admit to bias against the guy because he's the home-schooled kid of Baptist missionaries, but ADMITTING that he's a virgin to "save himself for marriage ?!

That sounds less like principled religious conviction & more like a conflicted,self-loathing
celibate gay whose in denial about his sexual orientaton & using the religious dodge as a form of "rationalization".( unless he's lying about his virginity", which would still make him a sack of shit )

I mean CMON, even religious TER hobbyists must see this guy as a mangina ! I mean, if we were in Tebow's shoes wouldn't we going about getting an abundant supply of beautiful pussy ? Trying to fuck as many Playboy centerfolds as we could ? I certainly would !

I don't give a fuck about his sexual orientation except that if he truly were this "good person" that everyone keeps tripping over themselves to pray, he'd be honest about it and just come out oft he fucking closet already.

Of course Tebow is fucking gay, and there is nothing wrong with that. but being an over the top evangelical poster boy, while all the while lusting to be fucked in the ass makes him a fucking phony.

He could easily shut me and many of his other detractors up by simply coming out of the closet, even I would have a hard time criticizing him for being openly gay, but a closeted hypocrite, yeah that makes him an easy target for me.

I would have an immensely larger respect for him if he would just come out and admit he's gay. That would take some guts, and even a prick like me could never condemn him for it. I still wouldn't like him, but I could never say again that I didn't respect him.

I did call him a "piece of shit" which I stand by. I did say, or at least allude to calling him "in the closet", but I don't recall ever calling him a fag on this forum and I most definitely did not call him a "piece of shit closeted fag"

The reason I did not, and will not use those exact terms is that it gives the indication by the use of the word "fag" that I have a bigger issue with his sexuality than I do with the person himself. Quite the contrary I repeatedly said "if he were to come out of the closet, I would have MORE respect for him"

Pri has a habit of attributing quotes to me that I have never said, please don't start taking pages out of his playbook

I gave you my reason, I can't fucking stand Tebow, and it is my guess that he is using religion as a cover for being gay. I just don't believe his stated reason, nor do I like or believe anything that comes out of the man's mouth. I have no proof of this, but it explains a lot.

You still don't get my position that simply being gay is no crime in my book, there are countless millions of gay people that can go right on being gay without me losing a second of sleep over it.  It's the hypocrisy that I find offensive, and as I freely admit, I am willing to believe the worst about Tebow, and I  don't really need a smoking gun to believe.

There is no bigotry in disliking an individual, when you can find a pattern of me bashing gays and/or virgins feel free to resume this part of the conversation, as for being biased against "over the top religious zealots" you're fucking A right I despise them, but they are the ones that hate so called "fags" (your words), not me.

The self loathing that a religious puke must feel after realizing he is what he hates has got to be one of the most painful things in the world, it couldn't happen to a nicer guy. lmao

And furthermore he can keep in private or not as he wishes. It's called "personal freedoms".

He's not running for political office under the banner of family values. He is or will be running for his life and limb tonight.

Agree with "religion on his sleeve" comment. Not something I buy. But you know we see a lot of hand crosses and looking to the sky in the NFL and other sports. He carries it a little far.

Maybe someone will propose seperation of NFL and religion. LOL Not sure it would pass as there are a lot of people who's religion is the NFL.

They actually had the fucking nerve to ask the entire fucking stadium to stand and bow their heads while some fucking preacher read out of a prayer book.  Yes as a Non Christian, who paid a lot of money for my tickets, I was quite fucking offended, and no I don't suffer in silence. lol

You have to learn to master the cursor and buttons of your mouse. This is the Sports Board. P&R is one up on the dropdown.

Almost all of the fans who post here are sports fans. We argue who will beat who, best 5 QB in the league, best coach, linebacker maybe free safety.

Haven't seen any insult of a poster in months, no one remarks on misspelled words or sloppy grammar. You don't see a lot of links, or pictures here.  

No one really care if Tebow is a Christian, virgin or his politics. We care about his wins and losses, passing stats and if he can beat the Pats. (That's New England Patriots) for the less knowledgeable.

Now it's cold and windy in Foxbrow. The question is: Can Tebow throw in those conditions, will a defense show up for NE.
 
Hardy is of the opinion NE will win, his opinion on this board counts. My opinion not so much, but I think NE will win. Stillers has an opinion of the G-Men and OPS on the 49er's. Don't argue with them on those teams, they will eat your lunch and make you look stupid.

Here is the point; Post your sports opinion, (spelled correctly or not) and if someone has a comment they will likewise.

Something along the lines of: "NE will try and contain Tebow in the pocket with downfield coverage and force him to make passes."  or Belicheck has had two week to prepare for Denver and he always comes prepared.

Or if your inclined: I hope Tebow wins. It's a great story and would be great for the Denver fans.

I also agree that its odd that a guy with all that fame and alleged talent would miss out on a truckload of pussy just to find some bullshit deity that rational people know doesn't exist.  If the P&R mod wants to link to this for it's obvious crossover, I'm cool with that but Tebow is known as a sports figure so it's reasonable to post here.  Way more reasonable IMHO than him swearing off pussy, unless as others suggested it's because he's a pole smoker.
