teams, like New York Yankees/Mets, Los Angeles, Boston. He's going to command a lot of money and they're the only ones that would presumably be able to pay him. Of course, if he has family in Miami and wants to stay close to them, the Marlins would have the best shot.

If it has no movement and he doesn't have a breaking ball.  Braves had a guy like that, jose capellan.  Traded  him to the Brewers, think he is still in the minors.

I wouldn't say it doesn't mean shit... you can teach a guy to throw a curve, you can't teach a guy to throw 100+

I remember a guy like that years ago who struggled for quite a while with his arrow-straight fastball before he finally learned some control and some other pitches - maybe you've heard of him? Nolan Ryan? Big Texan, threw a bunch of no-hitters? :-)
