I never understood why they call NASCAR a sport. The drivers certainly aren't athletic. Jockey's are much more so. Sure, it takes some skill, but so does bowling. Golfers are highly skilled but aren't athletes either, but they call that a sport as well. Must be due to the competition factor. I guess it's in the eye of the beerholder. Are stunt drivers considered athletes then?
