I saw the score of that game and thought Brady Quinn had a great game. When I checked the box score, he was horrible. Cleveland won in spite of his performance. He completed half his passes, threw two picks and no TD's.
First order of business is to release Quinn and Anderson and find a new starting QB.
There was a discussion below about Jamarcus Russell below. NFL draft picks, particularly first rounders need to understand the importance of signing early and showing up for the entire first year TOA and training camps or your doomed. Both held out because of contracts and now appear to be after thoughts for their current teams at least.
Holmgren should return to the sideline next year or 2011 after Mangini gets another year. He is more of a coach and a developer than a gm / president.
Did you see the performances by Jerome Harrison and Josh Cribbs yesterday? Granted, they did it against Kansas City, but they were still noteworthy. Also, Mike Holmgren is the new Browns' president. It's been widely felt that if Holmgren came in, Eric Mangini would be out after one year. It'll be interesting how that works out.

Brady Quinn is on the injured list because of a foot injury he incurred Sunday. Now it's up to Anderson for the final two games to try and salvage something for next year.
As a Steeler fan, the Browns are certainly not a favorite of mine. But they do have passionate fans. I remember watching games when they were 3-11, it would be snowing, and still they had 80,000 plus fans packed into Cleveland Municpal Stadium. That town is starving for a winner.
I'd be surprised if Mangini stays. New GM's and Teams Presidents like to bring in their people (see Bill Parcells in Miami firing Cam Cameron after one season). Holmgren has total football control. I am sure he has a short list of coaches he wants to work with. Unless Mangini is on that list, he's gone.
