Albert Pujols will be out 4-6 weeks after suffering an injury to his left wrist yesterday. He has a non-displaced fracture of his left radius and is in a splint. The Cards are already missing Adam Wainwright with Tommy John surgery and will be hard-pressed to win the NL Central. The timing of the injury is also bad for Albert as he is in the last year of his contract and potentially enter free agency at season's end.
