Hey, I'm a KY guy it's in my blood. I even go to harness races- who does that anymore?!

Most of you know the sports that i am willing to place some 'cashish' on. How many folks here are the regular wagering sort?

Which sports?

I won't pretend to know all there is betting on ALL sports. There are probably some here who wouldn't know an over from an under. Care to share how YOU go about making your favorite wager?

I've made two sports bets in my life. The first came when I was in high school working in a grocery store. I lost a $2 bet to my boss on an Auburn-Kentucky game. He wouldn't take my money though. The other time was in 1985. I was on a ship on the West Coast and one of my fellow officers, an Auburn grad, shamed me into betting with him on the Alabama-Auburn game, the greatest Iron Bowl ever. Van Tiffin kicked a 52-yard field goal and we won 25-23. I STILL haven't collected my six-pack of Mountain Dews in 20-oz bottles. Oh the agony!!

What's an over/under? Is it anything like a point spread.

I would also say the odds are off the board that I am going to get a smart assed answer in return. Any takers? lol

The Effing Raiders cost me 1500 with their wins over the Eagles and Steelers last year....on tennis, I usually like the higher ranked guy playing on his best surface-in boxing, it's best to not bet against a guy in his hometown-Mayweather, who, of course, is undefeated,  has always been a moneymaker for me-Older fighters, especially those 'coming back' after a layoff against a champion are usually losers-Good luck, all, now go get rich-smile-1rob...OUT
