Ok I was told to lead in with that. Thanks to those who have inquired as to Osp's health and our plans to hold a small get together. He is getting around better but refuses to follow doctors orders concerning post-operative directives. Do you all want him,or us for that matter, to remain aboard? Some seem to think that we would be doing a great service by going away.

To keep this sports oriented, please give your idea for the top ten beginning rankings for the upcomming college football season.

Well, in roundball anyway-lol    Oh, I guess there are a COUPLE  of good hardwood programs out there elsewhere-(tongue in cheek)

and any one who doesn't want you TWO around can eat poop and run rabbits as far as I'm concerned-and don't you dare leave! One, your posts add a ton to the board and I personally love you both and two, by staying, you'd totally piss off the neandrathal miscreants who want you gone. So there-

My top 10 picks for the upcoming season

1 Alabama   6 Boise State
2 Texas     7 Penn State
3 Florida   8 USC
4 Oklahoma  9 Va Tech
5 Ohio State  10 LSU

-And I have to grudgingly admit that ACC football, in general, sucks-but it's getting better-smile
Give your rascally hubby my best, Dear, and keep on keeping on-1rob....OUT  8-)

Bearing in mind that the wheezing geezer's health is first and foremost, a day without OSP on the Sports Board is like a day without sunshine.

USC is ineligible for the Coaches poll but is still eligible for the AP poll and in fact could win the AP National championship. It happened before in 1974 when Oklahoma was on probabation, went 11-0, didn't go to a bowl game but was voted as the national champion by AP.  The school that topped the coaches poll and won the UPI national championship was 10-1-1 USC.

He can be an asshole too just so you know. What's first and foremost is getting his will updated. ;-)
