Big congratulations to our latest winners of the TER NFL picks competition, pajada and HOCKEYMIKE, winning the grand prize of 5 VIP days with 14 out of 16 games correct!
Loose ends: quadseasonal - you didn't pick winners for Buccaneers at Falcons, Jets at Bills and Jaguars at Titans.
With the playoffs upon us it's time to mix up the competition a little, and so we'll be asking you to pick the entire playoffs from here on out, a full bracket. The deadline for your picks is 3pm Eastern on Saturday. We will have another competition for the Super Bowl as well should your bracket not make it that far anyway, but we will have a special prize for anyone who can pick the entire playoffs correctly! So, here is your postseason schedule:
1. Cincinnati (#6) at Houston (#3) (5th Jan)
2. Minnesota (#6) at Green Bay (#3) (5th Jan)
3. Indianapolis (#5) at Baltimore (#4) (6th Jan)
4. Seattle (#5) at Washington (#4) (6th Jan)
5. Lowest AFC seed (games 1 and 3) at Denver (#1) (12th Jan)
6. Highest NFC seed (games 2 and 4) at San Francisco (#2) (12th Jan)
7. Lowest NFC seed (games 2 and 4) at Atlanta (#1) (13th Jan)
8. Highest AFC seed (games 1 and 3) at New England (#2) (13th Jan)
9. AFC championship game (5 vs 8, highest seed has home field) (20th Jan)
10. NFC championship game (6 vs 7, highest seed has home field) (20th Jan)
11. Super Bowl (9 vs 10) (3rd Feb)
Remember, to enter all you need to do is reply to this post with your picks. For the sake of ease, please give your picks in the same numbered format as above (which is the order the games are taking place in, if that helps).
Clearly this competition is a bit more difficult to wrap your head around without looking at a bracket, so with that in mind we would suggest the one here: http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/postseason/bracket . We would also suggest you give your picks a second look to make sure you haven't made any choices that are impossible as the postseason system is somewhat convoluted - for example, no matter what, game 5 won't be Houston at Denver. That deadline again is 3pm Eastern on Saturday, and we'll announce the winner after the Super Bowl. Look out for our Super Bowl competition after the conference championship games are played.
