Found out last evening that former Kansas coach Mark Mangino will have a pretty good Christmas this year.  He received a Three Million dollar settlement for resigning as head football coach ar the University of Kansas.  We are in the wrong profession, look what it pays when you resign instead of getting fired.

I am in the wrong business.

He was forced to resign. Some players complained that he physically abused them.  He probably slapped them around some.  So what??  Kids today are raised with 'time-outs" and are never spanked that they can't deal with being slapped.  Give me a break. I find it humorous that the same people who are against spanking are the same ones who were spanked as children.  Mangini became a victim of today's society.  I played varsity sports in collge, and took my share of abuse.  I became a better player/person for it.

Different issue with Weiss. He was fired, he didn't resign.

resign, which he did.  If he hadn't done so, however, he would have been fired immediately.
