In what other sport would an athlete get fined for complaining that the official interfered in his "competitors" play?

In this world of all's fair, just win baby I find it refresing to see Tiger lamenting that his duel with Harrington would have been more exciting if the official hadn't rushed, not himself, but "Harrington".

Golf truly is a class sport, played by class people, and Tiger is the epitome of a class act.

One of the most articulate athletes around and never seems to give the wrong answer at a press conference.

99% of the time he handles dicey situations perfectly. But, he does drop the occasional GD or F-bomb when he hits a bad shot. Gotta love those mics they put on those guys!

...ahead. Tiger is one of the slowest players on tour so by defending Harrington, officials may hesitate in putting Tiger's groups on the clock in the future.

And should not get preferential treatment when it comes to the rules of golf.
I am sure he knew there would be a price for his statement before he made it.

It was probably 10,000 to go to a chrarty.

Hi, Guys,
Maybe you're ahead of me and the mainstream media now is about as credible as the former Iraqi information minister, but the paper I read today stated he wasn't fined-Anyhow, he's the greatest golfer ever, IMHO-later, 1rob....OUT

Apparently overstepped his authority.
He was not fined.
