Me? I slept from 2-4 EDT just after "Happy Hour" ended in France. I felt bad for the Toyota guys who survived 23 hrs 57 mins only to lose their turbo. GT Pro and GT AM were intense as well.
Also, the Garage 56 entry of Frédéric Sausset—a quadruple amputee—along with Jean Bernard Bouvet and Christophe Tinseau in a modified LMP2 car. Sausset drove well during the race with his prostheses and an allowance to have an automatic transmission that knew when he was in the car. This year, All the fans seemed united behind this car - regardless of Audi, Porsche, Corvette. Ferrari, Toyota, etc, allegiances. Anyone else liked the race? ga_kosh
It was awesome watching Chip Ganassi Racing taking to Le Mans with a bunch of IndyCar drivers who looked at home at la Sarthe. Ok, Bourdais is already French but Dixon and Briscoe drove nicely as well. Nice to see a legitimate Ford GT program take it to Ferrari, Porsche and Corvette.
and the Amputee guy was fun to watch during pit stops. Do you know how he qualified? I mean not on the grid but there's like a certain level of movement to prove you can escape a fiery car, right?
I did other things but I listened to Radio Le Mans otherwise. Those guys are nuts.
