in 60 yrs in D.C, with the exception of one World Series win... its good that the Nats were not named after them Texas Rangers still have rights over that trademark. If you want to know the real reason...

I was implying the present day Nationals are a championship  team and the Senators  ( the ones who sit in the senate chambers not a dugout) are a bunch of losers.

But the footage you showed is of Senators actually winning the World Series.. So got me confused..

o Problem at all.  

The Orioles have 3 World Series titles in franchise history. They should have at LEAST 5---but in both WS with the Pirates (1971 and 79) the team just stopped hitting. When the bats go into that kind of funk it puts too much pressure on the pitching and defense. With the high intensity atmosphere of postseason baseball a batting funk at the wrong time is usually a death sentence--sad to say!! I understand what the Nats fans are going through---it's torturous!!

I become more and more amazed by this team every day!! Honestly, I didn't think they'd even BEAT the Tigers much less sweep them. That series proved how valuable having a COMPLETE 25 man roster is. The Tigers have big-time stars in the every-day lineup and starting rotation but ZILCH bench and bullpen---and that's where they got beat!!

because baseball can be a crazy game over a small sample size. Over long period things even out...But over short period, anything can happen...

yeah, but not for your Nats this  post season,chokers!
