Bosting! Support is one thing. Bosting is another ...

First let me state that I am a Cowboys fan and have been since '91. So the loss was "hard to swallow" as Tony Romo stated. But what makes it worse is how badly these idiot "Smack Talking" fans get. I'm a fan of the game just as much as I am for the Cowboys. I don't ever recall an instinse where I ever bragged about how well or how badly my Boys killed thier opponite that week. Mainly because I know that in this league, things can change just very quickly and with little to no warning.

I've been on all the boards and heard some of the videos from Skins fans bosting how thier Skins are the best team and how the Boys are "One and Done". Now although it's there right to believe that and even say that. I'm still looking for actual sportsmenship out of the Skins fans. I did find one video from a Skins fan on YouTube and he seemed to be not only realistic, but level headed about the Skins chances prior to the game. Not to mention slightly funny as well.

Now, I know it may sound like I'm whinning a bit. And that may even be true to a degree. But having played football myself for many years and unfortunately not making it to the pros myself. I understand the heartbreak the Boys sufferd, and even miss the feeling of what was supposed to have been a great moment, turn out to be a complete letdown. But Skins fans need to stop bosting and wake up!

You think that just because you won one game that all games after will be easier. Hardly! You've got the Texans next week coming off a huge win over Indi, and Indi was playing at least 90% of how they normally play. So Skins fans should be more worried about them then the one win they have.

Although it is a win over a big rival. Chances are that the season is only going to go down hill from here on out. Lets not forget the complexities of how this league works and the fact that you will be facing NY twice and the Boys at least one more time before this season is over. I'm not counting Phily this year. Too many injuries. And if history serves me right. The Boys have never lost to the Skins in Dec when a playoff game birth for or against was on the line. Even though they've had thier Dec wose in the past. Last season showed everyone that the Boys are over that herdle.

The rest of the NFC is a big worry for the Skins as they have to face GreenBay and Chicago aswell and one of those teams is gonna beat them for sure. Let's not forget that Atlanta and New Orleans are big threats, and they have to deal with a Seattle team who's looking to have a great season. As far as NY goes. They have the best chance of sweeping the Skins this season. So all the bosting in the world wont help when your team is looking at a possible six lose season as the best possibility. Getting over .500 for the season would be a great milestone for the Skins this year, but the only great thing in thier future is a winning season.

It's not to say that they can't have a better season. I'm not that insane or delutted. It's just that the Skins had plenty of chances to put up a TD on the board (Offensively that is) but failed to capitalize. I give all the credit in the world to the Skins D though. They played a good game and never gave up.

But let's backtrack here a bit. Take away that fumble recovery for the TD at the half. That only makes Skins 9 - Boys 7. And then the Boys kick a FG for the win instead of the need for the TD which unfortunately for me and all Boys fans was renigged because of the hold. Or worse. Make it were the Skins go for it on 4th Down and don't make it one the previous FG play. The score would then be 7 - 6 Boys. And all the Boys Offence has to do is run down the clock and try to get close to FG range and kick. Even if the Boys miss that they still win.

So if anything Skins fans. You should be thanking the Cowboys Offensive line for playing so poorly, as well as the bonehead call at half by the Boys Coaching Staff for your victory. But don't think for one minute that it will be easily forgotten by the Boys and thier fans so quickly. Going into Dallas/Arlington won't be easy and most certainly won't be as easy of a victory ... well contest anyways ... as you think it will be. Just ask McNabb. Didn't he lose thier twice last season? ... In a row!

But here's where I do keep my sportsmenship on a high note. I liked how the Skins played on D. They made good plays and kept after Romo all game. Even though he passed near 50 times in the game. They kept Dallas one demintional and when you do that, you often win the game. Forcing the other team to play your game is how you win. Although the Skins looked good Defensively. Offence still needs time to meld and become more comfortable with eachother. That takes time.

But there is hope for the future, that much is for certain. So good luck to the Skins next week, because they are going to need it. As for thier bosting fans. I'll hope for yah, but I'm going to be laughing when you're crying because you get blown out at home. But only a little. ... Ok, alot. But still.

So in conclusion. Stop bosting. Be happy and celebrate responsibly, but most of all. Don't bost too much, because it is a season killer if you do it too much. And that goes for all us Cowboys fans as well. When we win I celebrate. But not at the expense of the other person and thier feelings and ... Ah hell, who cares. Cowboys RULE! :D

Great post.  Thank you so much for saying all the things I wanted to but didn't.

Look me up in Dallas during the Superbowl when hopefully our Cowboys become the first team to play the superbowl in their home stadium.  Now wouldnt that be freakin fantastic! :)

Offense based teams in the NFL usually start out slow while they find their rhythm. By week seven or eight, we will have a good idea on who the contenders are from the pretenders.

Just don't want to give our resident troll to much ammunition.

Don't forget the fact that Dallas plays Chicago on Sunday and Koiser and Colubo will be playing. So with that O-Line back up close to full strength again, the ground game will be back to good form. And it's not like Chicago can play against the Boys anyways.

I'm not saying that Chicago has a bad team. They're just missing alot of pieces right now. Especially on Defence. Also don't forget. Washington has a better Offense then Chicago and Dallas shut out the Washington Offence and only gave up FG. So it's not looking good for Chicago.

So I think we'll see if the Cowboys can get things back on track here. And our answers will come soon. All the experts are right. Dallas needs to work on Warren (RT who had the holding penalty) and get him into the habbit of Punching the chest instead of Wrapping. He must have learned that in College because I remember Spring Training. Even I had to learn that, and I was Quarterback. (UCLA was crazy not to pick me up ... Oh well. Just kidding.)

So us Cowboys fans are looking forward to Sunday at home against the Bears. And your Chief looked fine. Defensively they looked a little off at times but did a good job none the less. So here's to more FootBall! May the games be as sweet as they will be memorable.

K.C. fan here. Can't belive we won one. Two more and we could beat last year's record. There is a lot of parity out there. I say the NY Giants and Seattle looked the best in week one. There are games I didn't see.

Things change fast, week two is a different time in a different world.

Good Luck all, except for whoever is playing the Cheifs.

All the big hyped teams seem to have lost, Colt, Cowboys and Jets.  Bu the Who Dat Nation came through against the Viqueens
