What a great finish.  Props to both drivers.  The most dramatic finish for a NASCAR championship I've ever seen.  Tony Rules !!!!!

For a minute there I was afraid you'd been in a coma! NASCAR can be boring at times, but man!  I was praying nobody would wreck and it would come down the way it did; a straight shoot-out.  What nobody mentioned over the last 20 laps was, Stewart was on 4 fresh tires and Edwards gambled with only fresh right-side tires.  With that advantage, there was no way Stewart was going to get passed unless he made a mistake.  He was just too good for that but the pressure on both of them was amazing.  Smoke is a bastard -- and a worthy champion.  Edwards would have been a deserving victor as well.  I'll root for him another time.

Why the clean shave??  I prefer the "on the edge" Smoke with moreof  the Ol'Spice look, knowwhatimean?   I had thought that gamble on stretching the gas was going to backfire on him.  But it sure added to the drama.  Was sorta hoping to see them coming off turn 4 on the last lap side by side.  But otherwise, a great race!!

Been a race fan all my life.....this certainly was an EPIC championship battle.

It was so great!  Even though my Tivo ran out with 16 laps to go because of the rain delay.  I was still able to see how happy Tony was on ESPN.  I am so happy!
