There's a report that the bulls have a deal in place to send Kirk Hinrich and the 17th pick to Washington for an undisclosed player. This is thought to be a salary cap move to get Hinrich's $9M off the books and allow the Bulls to pursue to high-dollar free agents. The deal can't be finalized until 8 July, so could still not happen.
Wall, Patterson, Cousins, and maybe Bledsoe in the first round. ESPN has Daniel Orton rated as a lottery pick. I may be way wrong, but I can't see that. I see him as early 2nd round.
About an hour before the draft, he was told by the owner that it was his last day on the job, but he had to work the draft to collect his last check. Unbelievable! Pritchard was reportedly one of the better GM's in the league. He won't be unemployed long.
