the rumor mill, at least not that I heard.  This was clearly a Mike Garrett special, and one that he may live to regret.  Lane Kiffin is a good football coach, but he's also a loose cannon, and could get USC into even more trouble than they apparently have now.  I'd sure like to be a fly on the wall inside Tennessee's athletic department right now.  LOL!

UCLA alum, I was hoping for Jessica Simpson. Considering how she fucked up (and not in a good way) Tony Romo and the Cowboys.

Personally, I think this is a really poor choice. Garrett was under the gun as commitment letters from the recruits are due in a couple of weeks. USC has another stellar recruiting class, but there were a few kids already talking about other schools. Kiffin is known as a great recruiter like Carroll, but he is known as a loose cannon. Chow is the UCLA offensive coordinator. He was great at BYU and USC, but I view him as a bust at the Titans and UCLA as somewhat of a bust. UCLA has shit for quarterbacks, and you need a really smart talented QB to run his complex multi-set offense.
