Cars.com has pulled its sponsorship for Penn State's next three games against Nebraska, Ohio State and Wisconsin. Additionally, two Pennsylvania politicians have rescinded their nomination of Paterno for the Presidential Medal of Freedom.

Mike McQueary sees a 10-year-old getting raped, doesn't help the kid, doesn't go to cops, and he can coach Sat?  WTF?

Dear Ms. Prescott:
Apparently according to ESPN's Trevor Matich and Interim Head Coach Tom Bradley he is. I guess the Board of Trustees just wanted to remove the major pieces out of the way.

Penn State is full of fucking idiots. Other than that can't think of an explainization.

How is it that Penn State keeps screwing thins up every step of the way?!

Penn State Board of Trustees...fire Mike McCreary NOW!!!

Oh yeah, I forgot...they wouldn't be reading this site. Or would they?

to keep McQueary "off the sidelines." So, by that I guess it's okay if he coaches from the pressbox? Maybe this is another way to sweep something under the rug? I'm with you; he should be gone.

While this whole thing is mess, and Penn State Admin. are taking the heat 10 yrs after the fact,
where the hell are the parents during all this? Why didn't they call the cops? Why has it taken it this long to get this out into the open?
My kid come home with a wet head and acts a little strange, and doesn't want to go back to practice anymore, I'm going to be asking some questions of someone.

We dont even know exactly what McQueary told Paterno and he is out after his actions where found unacceptible in advising superiors and nothing else...but the person who actually witnessed the event, and told his superiors and did nothing else,,he's still there.
Those questioning the possibility of incest and marriage between first cousins on the PSU Board involved in formulating this logic have my support for an inquiry..
This is pathetic.
Now as to the media and others delerious in their joy at Paterno being finally gone...I make this point. Afer knowing guys, including NFL players, they each told me their lives were changed by Joe Paterno. To a man they hated him while they played for him..and revered him afterwards for what he had instilled in them as human beings. He is gone now. Maybe Steve Spurior or some SEC/PAC-12 or 14 or whatever it is this week will take his place..ya think?

it has been a very well known fact for YEARS that this was going on which is why Sandusky never got another job anywhere else.  Apparently everyone KNEW about this yet no one wanted to upset the machine that is Penn State football.  SICK individuals all of them that knew and did nothing.  8 victims so far and they expect that to go up to possibly 30. Disgraceful!

The fact Sandusky "retired" at 55 from coaching is a clue that no other college football program would have anything to do with him. Your source confirms this report.

Oh and then there is the District Attorney who never pressed charges. According to his nephew, he didnt like Penn State or Paterno and was frankly a complete hard ass. His nephew said he certainly would have pressed charges if he thought he could get a conviction. The man disappeared in 2005.

It is disgusting and shameful amost beyond words, and now frightening, to think about what might have been occuring for years up there. I apparently was wrong in my post yesterday about Paterno's knowledge based on Grand Jury releases.
According to the report it seems Paterno may not have just been keeping his head in the sand all these years.

It is breathtaking what evil men will commit. Nothing has changed about humanity(loose term here)from biblical times.

College football is my favorite sport, and I understand loyalty to your team.  But the alleged crimes are so egregious that they take precedence over anything related to the football program or a beloved head coach.

We've had far too many examples of institutions, and the people responsible for managing them, looking the other way as laws are broken and young lives are traumatized, perhaps irreparably.  But apparently, this sort of behavior is alright with these students protesting.

It doesn't matter whether it's priests, school teachers or football coaches.  These people should be in prison.  Their behavior is against the law in every state of the union and it's not up to a Cardinal, university president, athletic director or head coach to make the call as to whether something should be done about it.  It's a criminal matter and needs to be reported to the police with a court trial to follow.  Do anything less and you're as guilty as the guy who likes to diddle young boys.

The students of Penn State that are protesting are morons that are being ruled by emotions!  This isn't a disagreement in some sports bar, this is a criminal offense of the worst kind and they need to get their heads out of their asses and see it for what it is.

I think one of the biggest snakes in the entire thing , second only to that worthless piece of shit Sandusky, is this pussy McQueary's father.

I think the dude is main person behind the cover and I he think he has some of those trustees and other top PSU admin by the balls because he can prove they also knew for sometime that this sick shit was going on .

long time ago, if you got to say it, your not. If you have to say your the Board of Trustees, more than likely you are not to be trusted. In other words they really should be called the Board of unTrustees. I mean who authorized the use of PENN STATE's name to the charity "second mile" and other functions the piece of shit Sandusky did; who allowed children to be on Campus? This is the tip of iceberg, the facts so far do not make sense and if it don't make sense, more than likely it's not true.

said it took place at one of loser Sandusky's camps he attended at Behrend College in Erie which is part of PSU system.

How could this have gone on for that long and state-wide without some of those holier-than-thou "trustees" getting wind of it. You don't become a trustee unless you're deep into the circles.

You're right that this is only at the tip of the iceberg and sandbagging Paterno is going to come back and bite some of those elitist @$$holes in the rear.
