Mike Leach suspended!

Mike Leach has been suspended indefinitely by Texas Tech for allegedly mistreating an injured played. The school received the complaint from the player and his parents and is investigating. Leach won't coach in the Alamo Bowl. First Mangino, now Leach.

There's been bad blood between Leach and TT for a while

now. His contract negotiations were acrimonious, and my guess is that he'll be gone permanently from TT in the not too distant future.

of ESPN's Craig James. This may be the straw that Tech's been looking for to get rid of Leach.

Well, given that leach did not meet TT's (unreasonbable?) expectations

this season, I think you might be right about TT looking for a way to get rid of Leach. And a year ago they were falling all over themselves to get him to stay.
