ESPN just reported that Vick had been conditionally reinstated by the NFL. Now the big question is who, if anybody, will take a chance on him. Dallas said this weekend they have no interest.

I think the Cowpokes are still reeling from the T.O. "experiment" and I doubt they'd take a chance on him. I'm sure the majority of football fans out there are thinking the same things as me...Raiders!
Living in Atlanta and watching him for several years I will tell y'all that in my opinion, and others, he's not as fast as he was before he busted his leg. He used to NEVER get caught running out of the pocket and it became a regular occurance after he came back from the leg injury.

Maybe Raiders  would take a chance on him. Dawg Pound  is a pefrfect place  when home games  are Mike's stage to showcase his talents, even though he is just a little older.

Granted Vick is/was fast, but sometimes you just wanted to close your eyes in anticipation of a crazed linebacker taking a shot at him.

Also NFL coaches don't like spread offense quarterbacks. It's too difficult to teach them how to take snaps under a center. move their feet, and read defenses on the fly. Guys like Tebow are great in college, but the NFL is a whole different league.

I don't he'll ever be a fulltime starting quarterback again. But I do think teams will find a way to work him into their offense with something like the "Wildcat," or other variations of it. Vick still has football ability, and some offensive coordinator will find a way to use it.

that could effectively run, and yeah had a few too many concussions, and run the offense in the more traditional way as well. Interesting to see both high school and college football use the spread offense. I'm still a big high school football fan, and it seems most teams use the spread offense as it is easier to teach a young QB. Now colleges are exploiting the same offense, and unfortunately these kids are not ready for the NFL. People underestimate the skill it takes to take a snap under center, take your 3 or 4 steps back, read the defense, and release.

If you're an NFL scout, do you take a Tebow or Colt McCoy with the 1st pick. I think Sanchez will be more successful because Carroll runs a more traditional NFL offense thereby preparing the QB.

... it may not matter too much what colegiate pedigree one has to fall back on.

For every elite NFL QB, we can name at least 5 other QB's hailing from the same college program who were busts or average at best.

In the case of Sanchez, recent history is not very conclusive as to whether he will be successful or not - as we only need to look at Lienart and Cassell.

Its not so much the college, or the arm, or the speed, or the talent ... for the QB it all starts with what is between those ears, and in that chest.

Roger S. Goodell ,football commish made the right decision suspending  him for about a month and I bet he will be picked up by a team   by October.
By the way the brunette on FOX News ,Jane Skinner is the football commish's  wife  little cutie ,a  fun fact. :)
