I waited until today when I was assured that Jones and White were playing, but still got the Birds at much more comfortable -4 instead of the opening -6 1/2.
Yes they did make it a bit more interesting than they needed to, but a win is a win. They also covered the over rather comfortably, both for the game, and for the first half.
Truth be told, I wish there had not been, I am snakebit where it comes to WV, whatever I do where it comes to them is wrong. I had WV and the over, I guess not one of my better picks. lol
I will say that my strategy of betting the huge favorites hooked up with the overs in the same games was a profitable one once again. Of course most bookies won't take that kind of action, I feel fortunate that I have found two that will.
but I do play and every week I play a " long shot " just like we all do at the track . That team is in our backyard so we know their story and they lined up against Bama last year so WV sure wasn't going to punk them in the locker room before the game . And I also admit I blew that theory out my ass last week on another " long shot "
My flyer this week was Wicsonsin money line/over instead of taking the 6 1/2. I was feeling pretty good about it, until those last three seconds ran out at least. lol Oh well, that's why they call it gambling.
All in all, I've had a pretty good weekend of football. I middled the Bama/A&M game. I had Bama for the first half and the game along with the over for each, then took A&M to come back in the second half. I bought my game bet down to -7 so I caught a win/push on my game parlay, and a winner on my second half bet. Sometimes shit works out, and sometimes it doesnt' lol
I've got the Broncos right now, and we're up by a point, but truth be told, I would love to sell that bet, something tells me not to count the other Manning out just yet.
