Anybody have any idea why that touchdown ND scored in the second quarter was disallowed? The receiver actually got both feet down in the end zone even though he only needed one and even after the replay they didn't make the correct call. Damndest thing I think I've ever seen on an instant replay.

But not too loudly, as ND won this week.  Can you imagine what Charlie Weis would be saying about this if ND had lost?  He's already sent tapes out about this.  

Charlie had gastric bypass surgery, but it doesn't seem to have helped too much.

... to chime in against the over-rated Fighting Irish. In my opinion, there might not possibly be anything sweeter than seeing a ND loss highlighted is the Sunday sports section.  And the grin on my face lasts a long time, when I hear the whining too.  (Most likely, I attribute my reaction to the fact that South Bend is not too far from my beloved Chicago, where they always seem to get just a bit too much air time and print space.)

It would be one thing if the guy couldn't contain himself, busily stuffing a pastrami sandwich down his pie-hole on the sidelines; but, since that has not been the case, shouldn't we leave the guy's personal health issues out of it?
