So does anyone know what kind of deal the Nicks gave this guy?

Lin was picked up on waivers from Houston in December

and is probably not making much more than the NBA mininum.

He signed a 2 year $ 1.6 mil with Golden State as an undrafted rookie

in 2010. The Knickers are on the hook for about $ 800k.

He will be a free agent at the end of this season and will get signed to a good deal. The deal will depend on how he performs the remaining 30 games or so which is an audition for him.

He can't have too many 9 turnover games like last night which cost the Knicks the ballgame.

forcing every play. What's going to be even more interesting is when J.R. Smith gets in the lineup along with Amare and Carmelo. Lin has been a good story, but I hope he's not getting caught up in the media hype.
