The Jets are really lucky that this is a down year in the AFC. To enter the last game of the season at 8-7 and not any need help to make the playoffs (same could be said for the Ravens) is truly remarkable. Doesn’t happen often.
I can’t imagine the Bengals really putting up much of an effort especially since they would most likely play the Jets again the following week in the first round. I expect the Bengals to be very vanilla in their approach, not showing the Jets much of anything. If this scenario plays out, there is no excuse for the Jets not to win this game.
Unfortunately, for Hardy, depending on what transpires earlier in the day, I may need the Bengals to beat the Jets to get the Steelers in the playoffs...but if my Steelers are eliminated by then, I will be pulling for the Jets as well!
