Remember a few weeks ago, when Jeremy Lin burst onto the scene as the Knicks' point guard, and everyone was gushy and goo goo-eyed over him? Remember how one of ESPN's sportscasters used the phrase "chink in his armor" when referring to Lin, and the editor responsible for that faux pas was fired? All was peachy and rosy for the Knicks; then Carmelo Anthony came back from injury. And now? The Knicks have lost 6 straight, Anthony has said he wants to be traded before the trade deadline, and Mike D'Antoni will be lucky to finish the month, much less the season. As has been stated afore, D'Antoni didn't want the Anthony trade, but owner James Dolan insisted on sending what seemed like half the team to Denver, and coach and player were stuck with each other. Who needs Sexy Rexy when you have the Knicks?
No, I think so also. The Knicks were winning while he was out. Granted, except for one win against the Lakers, they were playing bad teams, but the chemistry was coming around. When he came back, everything seemed to blow up.
