the Orioles are 1 game behind the Yankees for the AL East lead. Been a strange season for Baltimore, in that they're 16 games over .500, but have been outscored by 35 runs. It's probably a longshot, but wouldn't it be hilarious if Buck Showalter bumped his old team back to the Wild Card?

O's have been in it all season -- and half of last season. They play great in September; even in seasons where they had a losing record. O's are 57-4 in games they lead after 7 innings and 59-0 in games where they lead in 8th inning. Their Bull Pen is lights out. Pitching is always the key to winning baseball.
