The pennant races are in the home stretch!  College Football and the NFL kick off their seasons.  For us gearheads, the final "chases" begin in both NASCAR and NHRA.  And golfers have the FedEx Cup.  

I follow it all.....keeps my sanity from all the other turmoil in the world!  Naturally, also  supplemented by an occasional romp in the sack with a sporty lady!!

the smell of barbecues, beer, and hot chicks scantily dressed. Even if my college team has no chance in hell in going to a bowl game, there is still nothing better, well except for that occasional romp you just mentioned.

"Tailgating" interesting term , so is that what you call it there?

I'll be going to the Michigan-Notre Dame game on Sept. 12, and to 4 more games after that, including Michigan-Ohio State.  Even though Michigan (my team) is down, I still can't wait, and look forward to that glorious fall weather up in Ann Arbor - the tailgates, the bands, and the whole great experience!

We get the warm weather down here in the South all the way into November. Above the Mason-Dixon line, come November you're freezin your baggetts off and tailgating isn't so much fun anymore!
Can't wait to go to Athens Ga and see the sorority girls in the their red skirts and black shirts....or vice-versa!

i'm going to Jets-Patriots on Sept. 20, 18th row on the 45 yard line...Sanchez can't be stopped
