for taking down Kentucky last night. I don’t think Duke could have beaten a team taller than every NBA team but one. But here are 5 reasons Duke will beat Wisconsin tomorrow night
1. Duke has already beat Wisconsin AT WISCONSIN by ten.
2. Forget the clichés that these are now “two different teams” which every sports writer will feel compelled to utter. Nope, they are the same teams, except Duke is minus one five star player. But the level of improvement from November to March has got to be greater for a freshman laden team than it is for a senior team. Justice Winslow in particular has gone from an unknown to a top five pick in the draft. Advantage Duke.
3. Guard play. I thought Wisconsin did not have a chance against Kentucky bc its guards were decidedly inferior. That problem will be magnified against Duke. If Okafor can at least equal the production of two members of the Badger's superior front line, they are in trouble.
4. Trayvon Jackson, the one guy Duke could not stop last November, is shell of his former self due to his injury.
5. Finally Duke just should win – it’s natural order of things. LOL. Hey there is even a Dukie calling the game.
Is the guy who said Duke would lose to San Diego State the same guy I hear sobbing in the Beverly Hills Men’s Hair Salon?

You feel "the level of improvement from November to March has got to be greater for a freshman laden team than it is for a senior team" ???? I don't believe College seniors lose their improvement skills until they are over thirty or fifty when the mind is a game. I have a strong feeling Wisconsin seniors will steam roll Duke freshmen.
Of course my strong feeling is a factor of my hunch, Duke's Cook won't be Cooking Monday night. On the other side of the coin, if Wisconsin can't keep Cook on simmer for most of the game, it will be a cold night for Wisconsin. to a team full of tall slow geeky public school white kids. I'm sure you could relate, the slow, geeky and white part, during your "supposed" hard court days in Manhattan Beach. Make sure you tell your Duke boys after they lose not to pull an Andrew Harrison after the game. I do expect more from an institution that charges north of $63K tuition, room and board.
