Up until a week or so ago, the Braves seemed to be a lock for the wildcard. Now, not so much. They're only 2 1/2 games ahead of St. Louis after yesterday. Atlanta has had some injuries to their starters (Hansen and Jurrjens) which has placed an added burden on their bullpen. They have 3 relievers with over 70 appearances each. I just hope they can hold out for the rest of the season. If so, they can put one of their starters in the bullpen and take some strain off the others.  Hang in there!

Cards and Giants are still out there, haven't been eliminated from winning their divisions, and the Braves need to finish strong in order to get the finish line and secure the wild card.  I heard that Jurrjjens is out until at the least the NLCS, assuming the Braves can make it that far...

It's good for us as fans and good for the city in general.
