Isn't that enough?

The team is obviously the team to beat in the NBA, they have a bad game at Denver after fucking MURDERING Phoenix the night before, Kobe is injured during the game and obviously slowed (5 for 20), Gasol is out still, Houston is seriously motivated, and they lose by 10 (not 26, like in Denver...and the difference was the second half, when Kobe was injured), and the fans BOO them?

Fuck, that's tacky!  I hate the Lakers, and even I would stand up for them.  What a bunch of spoiled fucks.  How quickly they forget the years after Shaq and before the Gasol trade, or the pre-Phil Jackson years with Vlade and Van Exel and Del Harris.  About the only one deserving booing is Lamar Odom these days (can you say he's been "Kardashian'd"?!), but for them to boo the team...that's just pathetic.

is not mutually exclusive.  A fan has a right to both cheer and boo.  Happens all the time in professional sports.  I'm surprised you're not aware of that!  LOL!!

and we are proud of it.  Why wouldn't we spoiled, with a team like that?  We know they can do so much better, and our standard is damn high.  I said this before, but the Laker's only enemy is themselves.

You know, at least we don't cheer for the opponents, like some other cities.  Like 2 years ago in Boston, pre-KG, they chanted MVP! to Kobe.  Like a year ago playoff in Denver, they were so dead they started cheering for the Lakers.  And when we get a good ex-Laker at Staples, like Ariza, we properly cheer for him.  Not like how Utah treated Fisher.  Yeah, we know what we are doing.

You contradict yourself, talking about how well you treat others, and yet when your savior Kobe is hurting, you boo the team.

The Lakers and Kobe are so marketed to fucking high-heaven that it is no surprise people chant for them in other towns.  And it's easy to be magnanimous to Ariza when you just won the championship and his team isn't considered a real threat for the season.

That the best you can bring, Spock?  ;)

How much tackier can you get, when you cheer for your opponent?  or boo your former hero in the most tackiest way by chanting "cancer!"?  These things will never happen in LA, because we like our team.  We boo, because we care.  If we didn't, we might as well bandwagon on the other team like the other cities.  And I seriously doubt they were booing Kobe for being hurt.

I'll tell you what our standards are.  It's Mbenga getting double-double, Gasol playing point with a cross over, Shannon Brown climbing all the way up to the nose bleeders, and Kobe playing with a missing limb.  So when we get ripped out of our free tacos, and much less lose, of course we are not happy and we let them know that too.

You talk about brat, isn't it enough that Lakers lost?  Do you really have to find another reason to complain?  Now who's the brat, really?

Well it's for sure the Lakers won't be 20-1 this season lol.  First they were walked on by the Nuggets, losing by 26.  And then lost by 10 the night before last.  Two in a row hurts.
