Way to go Suns!!!  Swept those Spurs.

Thank goodness because now Nash can let his eye heal.  6 stitches and he still came back & played. What is it about the Spurs always hurting Nash in the face?  Glad the Spurs are done...they don't deserve to go on.

Congrats to the Suns, who played a great series-The Spurs were unable to guard Stoudamire or the 3 pt line and were beaten by a better team with a fabulous bench-Kudos to Nash, who finally got his revenge-It was an accident he got hit by Duncan though, Misty-Not like the Horry incident-Also, the Suns were much more physical in this series-the Spurs Hill got knocked down more times than an English heavyweight from hard fouls. Looking forward to Suns-Lakers...

Chuck Wepner the Bayonne Bleeder or Jerry Quarry. One hit and the blood starts flowing. I did laugh at the "cut me Mick" picture during Inside the NBA on TNT after the game.

It's going to be the Lakers and the Suns. The only way the Suns have a chance in hell is to run, run and run some more, and hope to God they make most of their 3 point shots. The Suns don't stand a chance in hell in a half court game. How are they going to stop the Lakers when they pound the ball inside?

Speaking of playing a sport with only one eye, try Hockey.  There is a minor league hockey player, David Alan Beauregard, who has played in numerous minor leagues with only one eye.  He was hit in the face with the blade of a stick years ago while a draftee of the Islanders I believe, and lost the sight in the one eye.  There is rule that you must have the use of both eyes to play in the NHL, that is not so in the minor leagues.  So David continues to play, and if I might say, he is usually among the leaders in scoring wherever he plays.  That shows some pretty good skill, for being handicapped.  So a one eyed basketball player earns respect eveytime he steps on the court.

Glad to see that a 'lack of remuneration' didn't keep that fellow from exceling within his chosen passion.

Dear St. Croix:
Whether it be the providers on the board or General Managers at a draft they both concur on one thing:
Size Matters. That is extremely critical in this series and the functionality in the Pivot. If you can dominate the paint and rebound fairly effectively you should win. Look at the series versus Oklahoma. Gasol got the tap and they won. You do need a steady diet of size and height to be competitive at this level because the game certainly becomes more half court oriented at this stage of the game.
