He's an irascible, tough-as-nails driver who lives to be behind the wheel of a race car. Any race car. If he's not driving a Cup Car, he's at some no-name dirt bull ring sliding around. And he's fast in anything he sits in. Edwards is a good driver but I've seen him win too often with Dale, Sr.'s "bump and run" technique, which I do not respect. Tony may have done it, too, in past years but not lately. Plus, he's great on road courses. I've driven at Watkins Glen and anybody who can go fast there is my kind of driver. Go, Smoke!
I have been a Tony Stewart fan for years and hoping for another championship for him; especially with his new team ownership that is only 2 years old. It's so close, with Tony only -3 points behind Carl. It should be interesting at Homestead on Sunday. I will be pulling for Tony Stewart! Any race fans on here, and who are you pulling for? ~Madison~
Carl is just too white bread for me. I like Tony's edginess. If you ever get a chance to listen to his in-car communications to the team outside of TV's ears, he can be quite colorful. For anyone that is offended by that, he also employs his mother and gives piles of money to charity, so he's not just a foul mouthed spoiled athlete. It's the part I like about him though, being a foul mouthed asshole myself.

It's been rather unusual last couple weeks the way Smoke and Flip have been dueling it out. Can Sunday's finale live up to the expectations? I'm fairly certain both teams are prepping with extreme intensity. While I won't be upset with Flip taking it, I'm pulling for Smoke 'cause I've always been a bowtie man!
