when I would say those very words.

Now I have a boat, a horse ranch and a wife. Everybody tells me that the greatest days in their lives were the days they bought a boat and got married; AND the days they sold their boat and the bitch that rode in it! lol

Boy am I in serious trouble now.

No mention of a horse ranch though. Wonder if thats safe? LOL

I can help with that maybe. Tell me Kentucky isn't the best place to find one!

BTW; if a sports enthusiast moves away from the region that fosters his favorite team is he obligated to continue that passion?

Please tell me i don't have to root for the local Blue-White.

Can't I still share my FEAR THE TURTLE???? lol

that, according to Kentucky state law, you're obligated to root for UK in basketball. No, I'm  just yanking your chain. Of course you can still root for the Turtles. You might be the only Maryland fan in the state!

You'll be quite amazed at how fanatic the fans are about UK Basketball. There's no professional sports in the state and they're the only game in town...Louisville's a distant second. Not a bad place to live though.

I went to school in KY and recall the millionaire little old lady who passed away giving her entire estate to the fucking uk
basketball team. This really happened at a time when the school could have used some of those funds in more productive ways.
However there is lots of high quality basketball played in the state and there are plenty of people who loath the team that wont be named(a local discriptive phrase, honest..lol)
Best wishes to you out there and congratulations on escaping DC..I dont think you'll miss much here, acccept traffic and corrupt government of course.

There are a few as(s)pects of the DC area I may choose to miss. The corruption may taper off a bit now that i'm gone; they say. lol

Evil business men and all!

Some things are much better to rent than to own.

If it flies, floats or fucks, rent don't buy. and that goes for race horses and drilling rigs as well. lol

Hey it's just like casino gambling, if it makes you happy and you can afford it, why not?

Unlike casino gambling, there really aren't any $25 dollar tables where you can cool off when your luck is cold. I don't really know of a way to run a horse ranch "on the cheap" and have any fun doing it.

But, of course I'm a much bigger UK fan! Welcome to KY and I hope to meet you someday. I'll root for the Terrapins (unless they play UK) and bet on your race horses, too!

I simply offer everything necessary for one to raise and train one. Or the Mrs. does. I'm only a figurehead now. She's the proprietor.

I love Kentucky. Where else can you find 25 different types of porkrinds.
