Having no loyalty at all. lol

I am about as loyal to a sports team as an underpaid, over performing player about to reach free agent status. The players aren't even loyal nowadays, why should i be?

These are the only games i need picks on, the other games aren't worth picking.

DALLAS +4-110
NY GIANTS -4-110

ATLANTA -2½-110
KANSAS CITY +2½-110

SAN FRANCISCO +5½-110
GREEN BAY -5½-110

CAROLINA -3+110
TAMPA BAY +3-130

SEATTLE -3+105
ARIZONA +3-125

PITTSBURGH +1-110
DENVER -1-110

im assuming the second team in each pairing is the home team. if not, my picks may change.

ny giants, atlanta, green bay, carolina, seattle, pittsburgh.

if the game is AT SAN FRAN, i might take them to cover, same for DALLAS

And yes the second team in each paring is the home team.

from someone who hasn't done enough research to even know who is playing at home.

I will be happy to give you my picks 20 minutes before game time, but your best bet might be to just bet the opposite as me. I don't really get into football mode until about the third week of the regular season.

I've done really well in golf this year, but football really kicked my ass last year.

At this point it may not be a bad idea to take gambling advice from you or Kweezy considering my luck when it comes to football!

no offense taken, but the fact is i even provided the only games i would switch up on if the other team was the home team. most of the time, it doesnt matter. im very into sports, and would put my football iq against anyone elses here anyday, so had i been making a real bet, i would have checked the matchups, but just as a post for a website, no need

Home field advantage is a huge factor in both predicting the winner, and setting the spread, and every gambler knows "it's not whether you win or lose, it's whether or not you cover the GD point spread"

or you could ONLY bet on underdogs that you think will win the game, like i do, and like i did with the giants 4 straight games last year, and rake in the cash from the butthurt packer, falcon, 49er and patriot fans.

knowing who is gonna win gives you a good idea of who to bet on if you dont ever bet the favorite

i dont consider that an upset. that team isnt THAT good, and peyton has been off for over a year and hasnt looked great this preseason.

and I am not sold on Denver either.

Too early for me to be putting a bet in, but I seriously doubt that I would be taking Denver either.

Have to wait until the week of the opener. But it's getting close.

Good Luck All.

Especially to the Chief fans. Which is probably me and some other guy somewhere.

Poor guy, he's also a Royal's fan, but the baseball gods threw him a bone last night, even though the Chiefs were beaten soundly by Green Bay, the Royals managed to squeak out a 2-1 victory against the Tigers, and actually swept the series against them.

Hey, when you are 13 games out, and pretty much just playing out the string and it's not even September, you have to take your silver linings where you can get them.

glutton for punishment. Somehow I missed that boat. I wanted to cheer for a winner in baseball when I was little so I became a Cub fan.

Hey, a guy is allowed a mistake now and then.
