I check the sports boards a few times a week. There are still plenty of worthy postings that warrant discussion. As a Steeler diehard (and a big fan of pro football in general), I for one, once that season begins in earnest, will be much more active in posting and responding to current threads.
Occassionally, the unanmed person you are referencing above, does post something worth responding to. Unfortunately, his daily rants about the baseball standings (which we can all read and digest) and how New York is superior to Boston in all sports (which is patently ridiculous because any smart NY fan realizes that Boston is a GREAT sports town and has dominated the sports landscape over this past decade) are pointless and thus he looses any minute credibility he may have established. Until he realizes this, and only chooses to post something worth responding to, there is not much you can do about it.
