He was told by the NFL not to associate with his own dog-fighting buddies, but the video shows him leaving the bar a few minutes before the shooting started. He lied before, he'll lie again.
How does everyone come to the conclusion that Vick was hanging with his dog fighting buddies?
This guy that was shot showed up to the restaurant on his own. It was an all white party being held and the guy was not wearing white or invited, did not pay 50 bucks to enter Vick's party, Vick had no contact with the guy, and there were other people dining in the restaurant that were not involved with his party.
The restaurant came forward and said Vick has been coming there for years with friends and has never ever been a problem.
Video shows Vick had left before the shooting!!
Vick since his jail term has spoken out for Animal rights and various community organizations, as well as received the Ed Block Courage award this past season from the NFL.
looks to me so far he is headed in the right direction...SO GET OVER IT!!!!!
Well, there's a little correction to be made. He told officials that he left a full 30 minutes before the shooting and according to the video, he left about 3 minutes prior. Also, if he realized that his dog fighting buddy was there and is not supposed to be anywhere near him, he should have had someone ask him to leave. I'm not saying that he's done, but trouble just always seems to find this guy. Sometimes you just have to cut people loose and he seems to have trouble getting rid of people from his past regardless of how it affects him and his future.
Going after Vick has turn into nothing more than a witch hunt in my opinion.

It was his Bday party in a public place. 1rob: Since you want to downplay what Vick is doing to turn things around...how about you make a few suggestions on what BETTER steps he should be taking, what more can this man do.
I am a dog lover myself, and I get hammered by friends because I pay medical insurance monthly for both my dogs. I hear all the time that if your a dog lover you should hate Vick. I'm not gonna crucify Vick for the rest of his life for the mistake he made. Nobody is that perfect.
Phillips, a co defendant in 'Mr. Animal Rights' dog fighting trial, is the one who was shot-Vick was hit in the face with cake by Mr. Phillips according to eye witness reports after Phillips was told to leave the party because Vick is not to associate with him per terms of his probation- So Vick has spoken out for animals-Big Whoop! Do you really think he would have done so on his own unless he was trying to resurrect his self destroyed image-Puhleez-A courage award-Wonderful-That doesn't do those poor dogs that Vick drowned, hung, electrocuted and slammed to the ground until they died much good, does it? No Vick getting awards does not help those poor dogs...the same reason why some people dont believe in the death penality because it wont bring the victim back!!
My question to you is what the hell should he be doing? He has followed all the rules, he did jail time, he lost everything. Does that make you feel a little better to kick a man while he is down? I'm not saying you have to love the guy...but enough already. He did it, he paid, it's overwith. IT-IS-What-IT-IS, there is nothing more he can do but learn from his mistakes and lead a better life which is what he is trying to do.
ironic how years from know people will still be be yelling dog killer at Vick. It's soo old...society should move on.
I sure hope Roethlisberger doesnt get this type of treatment. After all he was only accused of raping two drunk minors twice in less than a year with no jail time or endorsments lost. And he's at camp attending all team functions. But hell, who cares about two drunk teens being raped...it's not like it was a dog that was assaulted right!! Society is ass-backwards.
