END OF MESSAGE

I simply feel Alabama had their shot and mis-fired!  Oklahoma State ran amuck over the Boomer Sooners.  Not to mention their only loss was at quite an emotional time.

No question LSU has earned their current throne; but I'd like to see what Oklahoma State can do.

Oklahoma lost to Texas Tech and too bad that loss to Iowa State was in 2 OT's . No the two best teams are playing as it should be and I think it is hilarious that 5 days ago Gundy said the same :)

Oklahoma not Oklahoma State lost to Texas Tech. The loss to Iowa State in two overtime periods came less that 24 hrs  after the death of two members of the athletic family of OSU and two supporters of the Unoversity.  A day filled with shock and disruptions due to a disaster. The fact that it happened almost 10 yrs exactly after another disaster is another factor.  I respect the fact that the team played a game and competed at a time of mourning, and still were competitive enough to extend it into double overtime.

No Bama is the best team between them and hard to argue against  the strength  of the SEC :)
LSU will win over Bama  :)

Alabama getting another shot at LSU is ridiculous.   They had their shot and lost..AT  HOME.  How can you have a team that not only did not win their conference, but also did not even win the division in their conference, play for the nationla title is beyond reason.

OSU kicked the crap out of Oklahome and deserves to be there.

but I hate rematches, I would have much rather seen the Cowboys facing LSU in January.

That said, how can you justify ranking Ok St above the Tide? By all things relevant Alabama deserves the shot. Number one is supposed to face number two in the national championship game, and that;s what we've got. The system is flawed, but it's better than what we had. I think. lol

I'm on 'Bama's side also. But I think there will be changes to the BCS after this season because of this very scenario. A team will not be eligible for the championship game if they don't win their conference and  two teams from the same conference can't play against each other for the title.

team sports from youth  through college whenever a MUCH weaker opponent was next on the schedule the coaches would get onto us all week about taking them lightly. Oklahoma St. looked past Iowa St. and they paid the price which cost them a title shot. They have nobody to blame but themselves.

live to see it-we'll just continue to argue about it-I'm a Tide and SEC guy in football, so naturally I'm happy about the rematch, which IMHO they richly deserve-LSU has kicked the crap out of everyone except the Tide-The OSU folks have a legitimate complaint and until there's a playoff, we're just like wolves baying at the moon......a lot of noise but nothing comes of it-the championship should be determined on the field and not by the opinions of a select few----
