Congratulations to the Chicago Blackhawks tonight. They just won the Stanley Cup defeating the Boston Bruins, 3-2. It was an exciting game hard fought by both teams. Patrick Kane was awarded the Conn Smythe trophy as the MVP, of the play-offs.
I've been a fan and watching playoff hockey for 54 years (1959) and these 2 teams left it All out there each and every game If you've watched , you witnessed a " Classic " Stanley Cup Finals .
Blackhawks were the best team all season long. They deserve this Cup. Stick tap to the Bruins who fought like hell and left it all out there. Every team that reaches the Cup Final plays through injuries but it seemed like there were more this year. That is why this is the best championship tournament in all of sports by far.
I sure would love to know more of the voting process for Conn Smythe as I felt Crawford was more deserving.
I agree !! Hawks would not be celebrating today if Craw did not withstand the first period barrage lasy night in addition to games 1 , 4 & 5 He should have won the Conn Smythe trophy
