I like the new NFL negotiation strategy:

If you don't like your team and/or contract, just fucking retire!!  See who bids on you next!

Not sure about your reference to the negotiating issue.  Nonetheless, it appears Brett is once again heading up to Minnesota.

I don't think I'd go that far but if I'm a Packers fan I'm not real happy...or Jets fan for that matter.
Think he'll make it through training camp or take his ball and go home...again?

I hate a man who can't make up his mind.
Retire?
Go to another team
Retire AGAIN
go to yet another team

Come on Brett retire means you do NOT play with ANY ONE ANY MORE.

And they say women change their minds.

Does he not have the right to do what he wants to do??  Seriously, what impact does it really have on YOU??  Aside from the "emotional" aspects that pretty much only belong to the cheeseheads, this is not something that really matters in the overall scenario.

In other words, are you also agitated when a "retired" provider cums out of retirement?  Didn't think so.

Live and Let Live      Cheers!

Im sick and tired of Favre bs.  I hope Kurt Warner doesn't pull this bs when he gets ready to retire

Brett Favre has been a great, Hall of Fame player and awesome for the game-but this "retirement" act has worn quite thin with me-Appears he just wants to miss having to go through training camp and continue to play-There's a time when someone needs to figure out that they need to fade gracefully into the sunset-For Brett, this time has passed, IMHO. I believe a lot of defensive linemen will be gunning for him this season and that he is now tarnishing an incredible legacy.
And no, I certainly don't get upset when retired providers come back-smile-1rob...OUT

Favre has been allowed to dangle his on/off decision making for a few years now. If the Vikings gave him a drop dead deadline and stuck to their guns none of this would have happened. Favre may be the only high profile QB who actually dared get away with getting out of going to camp.

Net results: The Vikes got their QB, Favre got his dough, and he will be in the HOF.

Some fans are annoyed, but when the season starts we won't be hearing jack from them, especially if the Vikes win.

On interceptions for Favre.  I say if he is healthy and plays in 16 games he throws at least 20 picks.

Makes a big deal out of retiring, only to change his mind a few months later, bagging tens of millions of $ in the process, several times.  Sounds like a plan to me...

Not sure how many cluckers are worth 12.5 million.  Then if you don't run out of cluckers this year, you owe 13 million next!!   Happy spending Brett!!

A classic example of a guy that refuse to face the reality that it is over. He should set aside for the young talents.
