Has there been a more hyped team year in and year out, then the Dallas Cowboys?? Romo threw 5 picks, but to his credit, not all of them were his fault, his receivers didn't help him. I'm not making excuses for Romo, he played terrible too.

Dez Bryant has as much talent as any wide receiver in the league, but he still has a lot of maturing and developing to do. He ran wrong routes, dropped passes and had balls go through his hands.

Same old Cowboys, I'd be surprised if they make the playoffs this year. The Giants and the Eagles are both better teams in their division.

I was more focused on the Yankee game last night, however I did click over between innings.

How they beat the Giants I’ll never know. I wish I could blame it on the officials (just like Sunday) but I cannot.

Also I noticed, or think I did , that the jumbo-tron or whatever that monstrosity hanging over the field is called  was moved. Is that correct?

Thank you

It's late November through the end of the regular season where Romo struggles. The bottom line is that he has been a solid regular season QB, but has not yet raised his game whereby the Cowboys can count on him to get them consistently into the playoffs and once there advance towards a Super Bowl. This is his 7th year as a starter and he has one playoff win under his belt. Not good enough to be considered an elite player. Unfortunately, this is a QB league. If you have an elite QB, no matter what else happens around you, more often than not your team will be competing for the playoffs. Those QB's have the ability to make plays and make the players around them better. To this point in his career, Romo has not shown that ability on a consistent enough basis.

to winning my first Fantasy Football match but with so many interceptions I lost by a mere 3 points.
Next week I benched my Cowboys WR's. I need a win!

a more hyped team than the Cowboys. To name a few, Eagles, Jets. But I take your point and Texas is in love with the Cowboys. And they should just like the NY fans or KC fans. Houston has the real team in the Lone Star state.

As for Romo, The Cowboys and Jets both have a middle of the pack QB and just above average coaching. Until that is changed not much will happen with either team.

Coaching staffs like NE, Pack, G-Men, Ravens or SF are hard to come by. And I think it starts there.

All of the Dallas players were distracted by the Grand opening of the new Victoria Secrets store in the stadium.  Money hungry Jerry Jones is thinking of a franchise in the Lingerie league.

And I also agree with the coaching, the teams you mentioned have superior coaching staffs. As for the comparison with Romo and Sanchez, yes, they both are middle of the pack QB's, but I still think Romo has more talent than Sanchez. At least Romo has mobility, whereas Sanchez is a sitting duck at times. Both are always turning the ball over, and seem to be consistent with making poor decisions throwing the football. I'd be surprised if either of the two ever win a Super Bowl being a starting QB in the NFL.

Back to Houston though, I really think that if Schaub didn't get hurt last year, the Texans probably would have represented the AFC in the Super Bowl. As long as Foster, Schaub or Andre Johnson doesn't get hurt this year, they should get the number one seed in the AFC, and they'll be hard to beat. If you look at the Texans as a whole, you really don't see any weaknesses at all. They can pass the ball, run the ball, and arguably have a top 3 defense.

if you have seen GB play this year, you dont think thats a big task. hell, i just took MINNY at 80-1 to win the nfc north. probably wont, but with those odds, a 1 game lead 4 games in, and a head to head over detroit plus the upset of the 49ers...i'll take a shot at it

Lol that is indeed what that means! 2-2 for the NFC East except the Eagles! A Redskins victory plus a Cowboys loss is like a jackpot!
