This has to be the ugliest season in Philly in years!  I gotta think Andy Reid is likely getting the boot.  Maybe they should consummate this season by picking up McNabb to finish the schedule out!  LOL

Hardy would say it's too early, But that's because the Steelers can still win the Division. I've been looking at the Scoreboard. Ah come on Hardy, humor me.

Now here is what I got:

AFC East           New England
AFC North         Pittsburgh          I think the Ravens may lose one down the stretch but this
                                                could be really close.
AFC South         Titans                Houston QB loss is a killer, I think.
AFC West           Chiefs               It was a typo. Just checking to see if your paying attention.
                                               Raiders, Damnit
AFC Wild Cards                          Ravens, Bengals,  Broncos, even the Bills are possible. I guess the
Jets aren't out of it yet  but damn close. It's really a little too
early to make good picks for the wild cards.

NFC East            Cowboys           One could pick the Giants here. This maybe close.
NFC  North         Packers             No doubt, may run the table.
NFC South          Saints               I think.
NFC West           49'ers               WTF How did that happen.

NFC Wild cards                            I think the Falcons will be one. As for the other it's a coin flip
                                                 between  Bears, Giants and Lions.

Still with 5 weeks to go, its way too early to determine anything. But as you wish, predictons:

AFC East Winner: New England. With a two game lead on the Jets (and they beat them twice) and a remaining schedule consisting of Indy, Bills, Miami, Denver and Washington, I can't see the Patriots loosing more than a game.  They win the division and are in line for home field throughout the playoffs.

AFC North Winner: Baltimore. Pains me to say it, but I think they win it b/c of their two wins over Pittsburgh. I see both teams finishing 12-4. (hopefully I am wrong and the Black/Gold run the table!)

AFC South Winner: Texans. They have a two game lead on the Titans and already crushed them once. I think w/ their defense and running game, the Texans have enough to hang on to the division title even if they are starting their 3rd string quarter back.

AFC West Winner: Raiders. At 7-4, they are the surprise of the conferemce. In spite of Tim Tebow mania sweeping the country, I think they hold off Denver to win the division. I still think the Chargers have the best talent, but at 4-7 they are in a free fall.

AFC Wild Card Winners: Steelers get one spot. The 6th spot is way to difficult to forecast. Someone will finish with 10 wins; 9-7 won't get it done. If I had to forecast, I would say the Bengals get in.

NFC East Winner: Dallas. I think they and the Giants split their two games which is all the Cowboys should need. The Giants still have to play the Packers and Jets which won't be easy. Hopefully the final game of the season between the two teams will be meaningful.

NFC North Winner: Packers. No analysis required

NFC South Winner: Saints. Tough call as Atlanta is starting to play better, but at the end of the day, the Saints offense carries them to the division title

NFC West Winner: 49er's. No analysis required

NFC Wild Card Winners: Atlanta gets one spot. I give the slight edge to Detroit over Chicago for the 6th seed because of the Cutler injury. But it will come down to the final week.

To who? The tuffest team they play is Cincinati and other than that they play nobody with a winning record. It is Pittsburgh that may lose and fall to the last wild card.

If Terell Suggs continues to play the way he is playing and Ray Lewis gets over his toe injury. There will be a parade in Charm city in February.

AFC

East- Patriots just out scoring teams with a very weak defense.

North- Baltimore  JUST DON'T LOSE IT FOR US JOE FLACCO and ride the defense. This team will go far especially if the path to the SB runs through Baltimore.

South- Texans  Without a QB now, they have amassed enough wins to back into the playoffs.

West- Raiders Carson Palmer and McFadden are more than capable of carrying OAK deep into the playoffs.

Wild Cards:

Pittsburgh- May not lose again in the reg season and finish 13-3 as a wild card. Scary team with a healthy Harrison, Ben and Palumalu.

Cincinatti- Another scary team. Dont be surprised to see them make it to the 2nd round.

Baltimore and Pittsburgh will play in the Title game. Belicheck and Brady and the Patriots have not won a playoff game since they got caught cheating. The Pats are outclassed by both Baltimore and Pittsburgh.

Baltimore 26
Pittsburgh 24

While the Ravens are among the best defenses in the league, this is not the 2000 Ravens (which had one of the best one season defenses of all time) I don't think Flacco can simply pull a Trent Dilfer and  manage playoff games and get Baltimore to the Super Bowl. He is going to have to make significant plays down the field.

I agree that with home field, Baltimore will be extremely difficult to beat. Tough place to play, especially if they jump on you early...then it becomes a feeding frenzy (see Pittsburgh/Baltimore week 1 or Ravens/Jets this season) and the game can get out of hand.

Now, while the schedule is easy for the Ravens the rest of the way, they have lost to Seattle, Jacksonville and the Titans (and almost lost to the Cardinals) so nothing in the NFL is guranteed. The Steelers have a favorable schedule as well (they do have to go to San Fran), but after barely beating KC and Indy this year, they could falter as well....as they say, that's why they play the games!!

are all saying about the same thing, with a few minor differences. I think the AFC North could go either way. But the Ravens or Steelers will win the Division and the other will be the wildcard. Having to go thru Pittsburgh or Baltimore will be damn tough.   Now here I am picking Sack of Spuds. Hard to bet against him.

I didn't forget Tebow. I think it would really be great for the fans and Denver  if he drags the Broncos into the playoffs. It would be as a wildcard, but hey, it's fun to watch.

808Transplant I wasn't slighting the Ravens. And they could run the tables from here. The Steelers will have a battle in SF. I could have gone either way on the pick and the biggest Steelers fan on the board picked the Ravens for the Division. Truth be told he is a lot more knowledgeable than me. Interesting both you guys pick Texans. Damn did I make a mistake there. Nah lol.

The Bengels are interesting.

That's why we get to make the guesses and that's why they play the game.

I'm taking the Eagles and giving the points. Seahawks ain't going anywhere with Tarvaris as their QB. They won't catch Indy for the Luck trophy, but you can bet Carroll will do anything to secure the right draft spot for his youngest child Matt "Carroll" Barkley (lol).
