After escaping Toronto in the first round (and I think escape is putting it kindly), the Bruins have been on an unbelievable roll. They wore down and ultimately beat up the Rangers much easier than anyone had anticipated. Then, in the conference finals, they completely shut down the high flying Pens. Pittsburgh scored two goals in four games. Rask and the entire defensive effort was incredible. There is no question that the Bruins are at the top of their game.
Having said all that, frankly, the Blackhawks have been the best team in the league since day one. They had that long streak to start the year and have been consistently good throughout. While they did fall behind 3-1 to Detroit (and needed an OT winner in game 7 to advance), they got through the series. They too played great in the conference finals, winning comfortably against the defending cup champions. Should be a great series. Its a case of the best team all year against the best team right now. Flip a coin. I did. Blackhawks in 7.
That's not gonna happen against Chicago. The Hawks are going to score at least 2 goals on Rask in Game 1. I prefer my team to go into any game/series as the underdog, it removes any pressure and allows them to just go out and play their game. My inclination is Hawks in 6, but I'd like to see them win at home this time, so I'll defer to Hawks in 7. Hopefully my heart can take it

I'm wondering what the Bruin players really think .. 2 goals up with 10 min. left to play to take away home ice advantage Anyone think they could have become Over Confident because of the Pittsburgh sweep ?? I expecting this to be a Great Stanley Cup Final series ! ! ps - did pick up that broom !!!!!
