If the Viqueens season could get any worse, it did.

Guess time to rebuild their dome like the Who Dat Nation

Metrodome roof collapsed. as i hear it not the entire roof but enough to make the stadium unsafe.
I guess any amount would make it unsafe.

I sure hope there are no injuries.

The more Pops Farve plays the worse the season gets for the v-queens and the worse their reputation gets for letting that bloviating self centered blowhard om the field.

As for the building, if a sissy-ass snow storm can take out the roof that is a sad situation.
Yeah Ok it was about 2 feet of snow in that city but compared to Katrina that is still a sissy-ass storm.

I just heard the game wiil be in Detriot monday night 7pm eastern.

She's a V-queens fan that's pretty hardcore.  Cute gal, but I've never gotten to see her dark side up close.

It happened at 5am this morning so thankfully no injuries.  It appeared that it was a giant portion of the roof by the video footage.

Thank god it wasn't during the game.  Can you imagine the pandamonium and chaos it would have caused.  No telling how many could have been injured just from the stampede.

I saw it on the FOX pre-game show.

You are absolutely correct if that had happened during the game, there would, I’m sure been hundreds injured and perhaps worse.

For the younger folks, I have heard the dome roof has collapsed at least three to four times before.

Wonder what happens to the Chicago game next Monday night?

Didn't want to burst your bubble though!  LOL  So my thought was to just remove the damm roof and play the game......or are those Minniesotans not as robust as the Cheeseheads?

it was a 20" snow and evidently the snow didn't melt fast enough and built up. It's not like those Minn's don't have this happen every so often. I think they have to rethink the roof.

They might be able to go to an open air field but looks like 2 to 3 weeks to get it ready. Tear away the old dome, and haul it away, fix anything broke by the colapse and change out what they have to as far as electrical. Code is different for indoor and outdoor electrical.

Then you might have issues like frozen pipes. My guess no football there this year.
