We'll see if Jacory Harris is for real tonight. I think he is. Stunning performance at a hostile place last week (Florida State).

If we can beat another ranked team this week hopefully future recruits will take notice and start to bring back "The U" to what it once was.

Oh I miss those days ...

for college football.  Some of those teams in the 80's were composed of low-life thugs who probably didn't even know where the classrooms were, let alone WHAT they were!  Penn State had the whole country rooting for them back in that bowl when they clipped Miami's wings.  Indeed, it may have been Paterno's finest moment.

I beg to differ. Back in the early dynasty days which started with Bernie Kosar, it was wonderful. Yes I do agree, that we ended up being hated a lot. And you know what? People hating your team means you are being successful. :-D

I used to live close to the Orange bowl, and always went to a couple games every year. The fear even the opposing fans felt was imposing to say the least. They knew what was coming!

Starting out as a young "unproven" team, the ONLY way to move up far in the polls is to beat GOOD teams. If we can somehow get past the next 2 weeks, we could be talking about being in the BCS title mix!

Now ... now ... yes. I do know that is a reach. And more then likely we will stumble in at least one of these upcoming 2 games. BUT ... just to have this opportunity again is just SO EXCITING for this long time 'Cane fan, you have no idea!
