Rule Change in Baseball...

What do baseball fans think? I would rather see more of technology, like instant replay, being used than these meaningless rules... It may speed the game a little bit, but who really cares. Its a slow game to begin with.

I would rather get them right with instant replay than just go with their judgement. NBA uses it. NFL uses it..

Its about damn time..

its about time..one of the most overused and ineffective plays in baseball..good riddance..

I have to wonder if any pitchers will work on a move to  fake to third then actually throw to first?

Not saying I'm in favor of that just wondering.

As I see it, the situation you refer to would now have to go something like this:

Pitcher is on the rubber; then quickly steps off the rubber; fakes a throw to 3rd; then delivers to 1st.

Not sure this even has a remote chance of working; since all base runners would have an instinctual tendancy to return to the base once a pitcher steps off the rubber.
