I dont miss the days when NBA was at its worst. How they tried and suceeded in taking Vince McMahon's business model and creating another Hulk Hogan.

Jordan was a great player but how they allowed him to push off every time, not allowed anybody to play defense on him. How they showered him with make up calls and worst of all how they turned every game into a MICHAEL MOMENT. I am not going to bring up how the NBA conviently looked away at his gambling addiction. All the while Pete Rose remains banned from MLB. I guess that there was some truth to what Tim Donaghey stated about the league's corruption.

I love the Basketball and the NBA as much as anybody. Then again those days were clouded in the corruption of showmanship. As least when Bird and Magic, Russell and Chaimbelain there was to some degree a balance of power. In Michael's case the NBA just amounted to nothing more than the Michael show.

Good Riddance Michael and THANK GOD that we never have to hear the names Will Purdue, Bill Wennington, Luc Longly, John Paxon, Bison Dele RIP, Derek Harper, Randy Brown, Jason Caffey, Tony Kukoracha even Dennis Rodman anymore. Jeez, if it had it not been for the MICHAEL SHOW I am sure some of those role-player-clowns would have had great careers in changing tires, pushing a broom or de-beaking chickens.

Even the great Scottie Pippen struggled to hold on to a job down once the league had to shut down the Michael show.

I am just as happy watching the lint settle or the grass turn brown as I would have been if the Michael Show was still on.

Still think MJ was the best BB player I have watched but my opinion and respect for him got flushed down the toilet after his HOF speech.

He ripped apart the very people who gave him the chance to play.

my knicks from winning, trust me vegas controlled him and nba , if no one believes it they are blind, donaghy knows his tough, what happened to his dad, please accident, every call foul for jordan, did duncan get those calls, tell me is jordan better than tim duncan, who hell is that fat slub charles barkley, FAILURE

Bird, Magic.
Brought it back from the brink and showed that teamwork will win you championships.

Jordan's success rode their coat-tails.

Mchale, Worthy, Abdul-Jabarr, Parish, Scott, Ainge, DJ, Cooper, McAdo, Wilkes, Nixon, Maxwell, Wedman, Rambis, AC Green, Walton, ML Carr, Stiching, Carslile. Heck even throw in 12th men like Chuck Nevitt, Greg Kite, Wes Matthews and David Thirdkill.

Combine all these guys and Jordan still had the better supporting cast.
