Florida has hired Texas defensive coordinator Will Muschamp as their new head coach. I thought Muschamp was the "coach-in-waiting" to  replace Mack Brown, but I guess he got tired of waiting. He coached at LSU and Auburn and is thought to have received a 6-year contract.
