I can't say I have a favorite in the playoffs. Dodgers arn't there so I would love to see some really good baseball with teams winning by 1 run. Hate to see Minn. get beat like that. I don't think the Yankee's can handle Texas or Philly if the Yanks get there, and although I think it would be great for Texas I think Philly has a better team. Maybe the Yanks are the best in the AL, would hate to see them win. But then again that's why there the Damn Yanks and there is something to be said for that.
Their closer, Billy Wagner, is out for the remainder of the playoffs due to a strained left oblique muscle. If he's replaced on the roster, he won't be eligible to come back until the World Series, if the Braves gets that far. This is probably not the way Wagner wants his career to end, since he's announced that he's retiring after this season.
